This is a compact refractor for visual and photographic use. It has a 66-mm clear aperture and a focal length of 400 mm. It has a carbon fiber shell so it extremely light in weight, and the carbon fiber shell significantly reduces the time it takes your telescope to adjust to outside temperatures. With a standard barrel diameter of 1.25'', this telescope readily accepts a variety of eyepieces which includes eyepieces from various manufacturers. Also, for your convenience, the Levenhuk Ra R66 ED Doublet Carbon OTA comes with an aluminum case for you to store and transport your telescope. The apochromatic objective lens has two lenses that significantly cuts down false color to a barely noticeable minimum. The fully multi-coated lenses, made of ED glass, yield crisp, clear views of the night sky. On the front end of the telescope tube there is a sliding dew shield that keeps the optics from fogging up on you. In addition, it comes standard with a 1.25'' barrel diameter of the focuser allows you to use a number of accessories with this refractor. Upgradeable to a 2" diagonal.

This compact refractor, the best for observing lunar, planets, and open star clusters. Although limited in it's visual deep sky ability it can excel in photographic applications. This is particularly true with a SiebertOptics 0.6x focal length reducer. It has a focal length of 432 mm and an clear aperture of 72 mm. This telescope allows you to observe Venus's phases, sharper, clearer images of lunar craters and even Saturn's beautiful rings. The apochromatic objective lens, which is fully multi-coated, produces the best quality views with no false color. The aluminum optical tube as well as the body of the Crayford focuser have a gorgeously glossy anodized finish. The sliding dew shield keeps the objective lens from fogging.
